Message from the chair
Welcome to the Brantridge School website. I trust you are finding it straightforward to navigate around the different areas.
Brantridge School has an active Governing body the role of whom is to monitor the work and development o f the school in a range of key areas.
It is the aim of the Governing body to drive improvement in the school through constructive questioning, analytical review and positive practical contribution.
The Governing body regularly reviews the academic attainment and progress of the pupils, the facilities and environment of the school and the care and welfare of the pupils.
Every term the full Board of Governors meets to receive statutory reports, ratify initiatives and policy and discuss strategic development. During the course of a term the sub committees- curriculum, Care, Health and Safety and Budget Support also meet, this is a chance to contribute in a more ‘hands on’ way.
We are available at events like Open Day to meet and talk with parents and carers and value your feedback on the school’s work.
We are always keen to welcome new Governors and are currently specifically seeking to appoint Parent Governors. If what you have read interests you and you feel you could commit a minimum of six days a year to Brantridge please contact us for more information.

Chair of Board of Governors
