Inspections

As with any other school Brantridge is subject to inspection from OFSTED. The residential nature of Brantridge School means that we are visited more regularly than day schools to ensure that the welfare and care of our pupils is monitored.

We have received two successive judgements of OUTSTANDING in our most recent OFSTED Welfare Inspections. Please follow the link below to download the report from December 2008.

Brantridge School last received an OFSTED Education Inspection in May 2007. The school was judged to be satisfactory and the report was positive about the school, the pupils, the staff and the new leadership teams at school and Trust level. We have worked continually over the last two and a half years to action all recommendations that came from this inspection and to embed resources and systems that allow us to effectively measure the impact and quality of educational experience that is offered to our pupils. Please follow the link below to download the report from May 2007.

‘The school continues to provide a good standard of care. It provides the children with emotional support and encourages the children with their education and interests.’

‘The school as a whole has moved on sine the last inspection and a lot of work has gone into developing systems and reviewing how relevant areas of the school can change to develop practice even further.’
